InnoVAD
Using the NKF-DOQI guidelines as systematically developed, evidence-based statements built upon the best available information, the InnoVAD has been formulated to take this into consideration, evaluating influences and illustrating outcomes. Review of information gathered, allows analysis in phases of operational and clinical data elements. The InnoVAD provides a database of information which assists health care teams and patients in determining the kind of care needed to optimize the outcome for each individual patient.
The InnoVAD now has seven years of data and five thousand patients included.
The InnoVAD promotes and supports advancement of the concepts of: Benchmarking, CQI , Cost savings, Outcomes analysis, Information trees, Staff training, and Patient education. InnoVAD began the development and evolution of its Vascular Access Database (VAD) as a search for unbiased, statistically relevant data. After three years of extensive research, and one year of clinical trials, the InnoVAD offers comprehensive database capabilities and the means upon which a clinical and financial Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process can be defined and implemented as it relates to vascular accesses.
